Formerly Marlowes Fitness Centre, Olympian Gym was acquired by none other than the British Number One bodybuilder and qualified nurse, Eddie Abbew. Eddie is one of less than twenty British bodybuilders who have met the exceptionally high standards to qualify for and compete at the prestigious, Mr Olympia, since it started in the 1960′s. In fact, he is the last British male bodybuilder to compete at the open Mr Olympia in 2007 in Las Vegas. He has competed alongside bodybuilding legends such as, Jay Cutler, Phil Heath, Ronnie Coleman, Kai Green, and Dennis Wolf, to name but a few.
Investing in equipment is exactly what Eddie did. Now Olympian Gym boasts a vast range of equipment from major brands like; Cybex, Hammer Strength, Hoist, Gym 80, Star Trac, Life Fitness, Technogym, Nautilus and Nytram. With the above in mind, Olympian Gym prides itself in being worlds apart from the current commercial and lifestyle gyms that are currently springing up in every corner.
